Mexican artist Gilda Garza wows guests with incredible art exhibition during Cinco de Mayo celebrations in Las Vegas.
On Friday, May 4, the Terrace at OMNIA Nightclub inside Caesars Palace was the setting for a slice of Mexican perfection. Overlooking the busy neon-lit Strip, Garza displayed her pieces of art from her new collection KINGS & QUEENS with a VIP reception during the Cinco de Mayo celebrations.
KINGS & QUEENS is inspired by the true love a couple have for each other, making this a truly beautiful and inspirational collection of art. “My inspiration for this new collection is true love, how you can make your partner feel like a real King or Queen, and that is when you know you have the true love. Now is the time to celebrate this,” said Garza.
Cinco de Mayo has become associated with the celebration of Mexican-American culture and this exhibition was a true reflection of that. Guests enjoyed cocktails and the sounds from a traditional mariachi band playing under the Vegas night sky. Garza, wearing a stunning, colorful full-length gown looked as breathtaking as her work being displayed. Along with the canvases displayed, was the Roberto Cavalli denim skirt and jacket that is adorned with Garza’s stand out art.
Through her work Garza displays her passion for each piece as if the paint itself is an expression of the heart and soul with each brush stroke. Constantly striving to find new ways that can test her technique and abilities to produce her masterpieces, she acquires her inspiration from occurrences in her life; bringing beauty combined with thought to life on her canvases.
Garza has gained international acclaim with successful collaborations with Playboy Mexico as well as, sold out exhibitions in Miami during Art Basel. In 2016, Garza’s first exhibition, TRUE LOVE that was held on a mega yacht during Miami Art Basel, attracted an incredible crowd of art buyers, fellow artists, press and celebrities, including world famous artist Domingo Zapata, Lisa and Brittny Gastineau, Lady Victoria Hervey, supermodel Shaun Ross and Claudine De Niro. Most recently she painted a huge sculpture of a shoe for the Phoenix Suns, as well as painted portraits of the world’s most famous athletes at their request and her art was recently incorporated onto clothing by Roberto Cavalli.
